Description
Completely unfinished. The flesh in an underpainting of light bluish grey, covered with pink in places. The same light bluish tone is present in the white of the tips. The hair is hinted at grey. The veil black-brown. The brown is also summarised in the right sleeve and in the right hand. In the left arm and in the left hand the brown is very thin, also grey and pinkish grey. Black-brown dress. The pedestal resting on the right arm. Dirty brown. The air blue and indeed lighter on the right, darker on the left. On the far left brown indicated foliage.

Loss 1945, The work was stored from 1942 in the attic of the Hintermühle in the manor house of the von Flotow family (Stuer-Vorwerk estate) in Stuer at the southern end of Lake Plau. The family was informed that the manor house had been robbed, furniture and objects had been taken away
