Dr. Moritz Julius Binder (1877-1947) was a Berlin art dealer and art specialist, advisor to Hermann Göring; bequeathed his collection to the Düsseldorf Art Museum; the attribution to Goya is based on his expertise

Acquisition from Prof. Dr. Binder, Berlin; storage of the art objects in 1943 by Karl Boden Nachf. OHG Spedition, furniture transport; Lost: "Lager Henel" in Spremberg, 1945.
