Provenance
Lost in 1946, Solvayhall. The paintings were last located in the Solvayhall relocation site near Bernburg. Initially, efforts were made to recover the stored artworks after the end of the war. This was prevented by the removal (wagons Fr 42512, R 694457, MAV 171095) of the majority of the works of art stored at Solvayhall near Bernburg by the Red Army on 23 April 1946. From May 1946 onwards, the recovery of the artworks at the remaining storage locations could be carried out. In the process, thefts and looting were discovered.
