Description
Golden pocket watch with silver face, decorated with flat arabesques; above the 12 hour digits, there are riveted studs, with the XII especially prominent; these markings are meant to help reading the time in darkness; signed: "Kabba abbal".
Provenance
Given to the Kunstkammer in 1752 by the groom of the bedchamber Janus (cf. 1764 and following inventories).
