Description
Watch indicating only hours, with automatic ringtone (?) and alarm; face, hands, cock and escapement are missing; the alarm disc is gilded and lavishly engraved; the finely engraved front is rather damaged; the back is made from openwork engraved silver and decorated with flowers in multicoloured enamels; the watch works with a gut string and without a spring; signed "Nicolas Lemaindre Blois".

[…]. Currently in the possession of the Hermitage St. Petersburg (Inv.No. Э-17139); September 14, 2019-March 15, 2020 in the exhibition "Juwelen! Schitteren aan het Russische hof" at the Hermitage Amsterdam.
