The calendar shows the seasons, months, weekdays and the course of the planets and the moon; signed "Dd. Fc. Dubois A Paris".
Provenance
According to the 1830 and 1858 inventories, the clock used to belong to queen Marie Antoinette of France and later came into the possession of duke Ernest I of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, before it was given to the Kunstkabinett.
