Allegorical depiction of the African continent: a gaudily dressed dark-skinned man - red green-edged boots, short coat with multi-coloured large floral pattern and short blue sleeves, red sash around the waist, long and heavy cloak around the shoulders; on the head a peaked white crown, gilt-edged and gilt-dotted and with three colourful feathers.
