Mountain scenery with waterfall

Beyond a grassy hill on a tree-shaded hill, one sees among other buildings a square tower in the distance and blue mountains. A flock of goats, which follows the shepherd, moves to the path that leads to the hill. A man resting in the grass, another sitting next to him. In the foreground a slope with strong trees groundwall from which a tree trunk appears as cast down; behind two trees a small waterfall. (Matthew 1837)
