Front: Monogram at bottom left of plate; reverse: Stamp SGSM 18 / Lugt 1094c, with inventory numbers "1940" and "252" written in pencil; water stains; no other features.

Since February 1941 Staatliche Graphische Sammlung, Munich, acquired from Dr Ernst Wengenmayr, who purchased the print at auction from Puppel in Berlin on behalf of the Graphische Sammlung

It is presumed that the work was confiscated as a result of persecution.
