Description
The guard lies asleep on an embankment in the forest with his knees drawn up; he is wearing a white headscarf, yellow doublet, red trousers and black shoes. Below his right elbow lies the quiver with arrows, next to it on the right the crossbow inlaid with ivory. Forest landscape. (according to inv.)
