Lidded tankard
The partially gilded silver tankard has a cylindrical body decorated with a half relief of putti and floral festoons. The domed, round foot with the flared stand ring features a decorative strip in floral relief all round.
The vessel is closed by a domed lid with a flared rim. The bead is decorated with floral relief. The lid was attached to the top of the S-shaped handle of the hump with a hinge. The handle and split thumb rest are worked in cartilage moulds. The letters "OAS" are incised twice under the base, as well as the inventory number "AB 1079" and four jagged lines. The master's mark and the hallmark are located on the lip rim.
