Large mug

The conical silver cup widens slightly towards the top and is almost completely decorated on the outside with chased acanthus leaves and large flowers. Only a narrow strip bordered by two lines below the moulded, slightly curved lip rim is smooth, as is the moulded foot with the flat base ring. The smooth parts of the outer wall and the inside of the cup are gilded. Under the foot are the master's mark (LR and fleur-de-lis), the hallmark (Hamburg and D) and the inscriptions "J [or F, with a horizontal line added in biros] 72" and "39018" in ink under the base. There is also an inscription under the base ring: "No 2.1 [unknown symbol, similar to a crossed-out U] 45 Sol" engraved in cursive script.
