FEC, legend: ALEXANDER VON HVMBOLDT // (anti-clockwise) MDCCCXXXXXXVII; reverse: A female winged guardian spirit (genius) seated from the front, her lap and legs facing right, covered with a cloth, her upper body naked. Raising her right hand, she reveals the image of Sais in the guise of the goddess Diana of Ephesus. With her left hand she holds a telescope from which a cord leads downwards. In front of the group is a winged sphinx. In the section an underwater world with fish, into which the string with a lure-like end piece reaches.
