Nazi-looted property, confiscated in 1933, main archive of the NSDAP after 1934, probably confiscated by the US Army in 1945 and taken to the USA, probably restituted to the Herder Institute in Marburg by mistake in 1964, probably given to the West German Library after 1964, gift from the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz to the Osteuropa-Institut Munich in 1983
