Stiftungsfest. Lustspiel mit Gesang in 3 Akten für Turner und Turnfreunde
The book was purchased from the book and art dealer Rudolf Ebel in Oldenburg on 10 December 1944. Ebel had taken over the formerly Jewish book and art shop S. L. Landsberg in July 1938, after the first "Aryanisation" of the company in August 1937 by the Bremen bookseller Heinrich Jördens had been short-lived. It is very likely that when Heinrich Jördens took over the business, and a year later Rudolf Ebel also took over the stock of the Landsberg company.
Landsberg were also taken over. The name inscription "Jacobs" in the book indicates a possibly Jewish previous ownership. Several Jewish families in Oldenburg bore the name Jacobs or Jakobs.
