Description

Box of galvanized boards and side. Inner boxes with movable, lockable lid (hollow key). The trunk lid has two hinged iron hinges, at the front the bands end in eyelets in which lost padlocks hung. The keyhole on the front wall is provided with a flap.

Provenance

Acquisition on 21.06.1939 in Hirschau by the Kunst- und Altertumsverein e.V., Tübingen for 10 RM, previous owner unknown. In 1941 with the dissolution of the association passed into the possession of the Municipal Collection.
