Finanzministerium des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen

The North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Finance has taken over works of art from the Landesamt für gesperrte Vermögen (State Office for blocked assets), the Düsseldorf Regional Council or other state agencies that either originate from the assets of the NSDAP or were acquired during the Nazi era. The publication of these works is made with the aim of obtaining information on the origin of these works and, if necessary, to be able to contact persons or institutions entitled to claim them.

The notification is supervised by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
