In 1939, it became Reich property in exchange for works of "Degenerate Art" (see SMB-PK-ZA, I/NG 0863, pp. 378-382v, here p. 379, no. 15).
At the beginning of 1942, the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda transferred the "Degenerate Art" works of art confiscated from the Dresden collections to the Dresden State Picture Gallery as compensation for the "Degenerate Art" (see SMB-PK-ZA, I/NG 0864, pp. 12-15, here pp. 13v, no. 11 and SMB-PK-ZA, I/NG 0863, pp. 503r-507v, especially pp. 504v, no. 44).
1943 according to the entry in the inventory book of the Dresden Copperplate Cabinet transferred from the Dresden Picture Gallery.
