Description
curved front legs, connected to the straight hind legs by H-shaped bracing; the pliers at the front are branched in the middle by a cartridge. Rectangular backrest is closed with a fivefold arch; middle arch with a carved cartridge. The middle board of the backrest, which ends by cross-bracing about 10 cm above the backrest, is slightly curved with an eyelet shaped opening in the middle. The cushions were originally covered with a floral pattern, but were re-covered with yellow velvet at an unknown time.

probably confiscated in September 1942 by the tax office Mainz-Stadt (identification number of the tax office: M. St. 88/584) Transferred in September 1943 by the OFP Hessen in Darmstadt to the Painting Gallery and the Museum of Antiquities of the City of Mainz (estimated price at transfer: RM 40)
