walnut and fruitwood veneer, body: fir wood
Lower part consisting of a three-panel, cranked chest of drawers, drawers decorated with band inlays. On top of the chest of drawers is a writing compartment with a sloping lid. On top of this is an attachment consisting of a central compartment, to the left and right of which four drawers are arranged one above the other, each with band inlays. The marquetry on the central compartment is recessed in a circle with a woman with a fruit basket on her head, surrounded by tendrils. The lid of the writing compartment shows two ellipses of light wood next to each other with a flower basket and tendrils inlaid. On the back there is a note with the title "Berger, Gonsenheim, 24. IV.42".
