Confiscated by the Gestapo in Vienna in 1939 from the property of Josephine Lechner and sent on 16 July 1941 by Reinhardt Heydrich, Chief of the Security Police and SD, from Berlin to the Weimar Gauleiter Fritz Sauckel for forwarding to the Goethe and Schiller Archive. Restituted to the rightful claimants by the Klassik Stiftung Weimar in 2012
